Sorry I'm a little dence, I havent had much experience with Premiere yet. It sounds like he bought Premiere PRo 1.5, and it won't run. I'd think premiere would run on any pc (well, equally bad), or is this just some kind of optimization option in premiere that he can't seem to enable?roguebfl wrote:so i went out a Got a Copy Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5, after installin it I cant get it pass the SSE problems with my Athlon XP 1800+ 8(

It won't install without giving an SSE error!quadir wrote:... I'd think premiere would run on any pc (well, equally bad), or is this just some kind of optimization option in premiere that he can't seem to enable?
The system requirements are:
Intel® Pentium® III 800MHz processor (Pentium 4 3GHz recommended)
which would be silly if they desided not to allow AMD processers to use it.
256MB of RAM (1GB or more recommended)
800MB of available hard-disk sorta large for what it can do Program!
Microsoft DirectX-compatible ... blah blah
1,280x1,024 32-bit color video display adapter (OpenGL card recommended)
