To LadyDX - My search for Garth Brooks, using only the artist's name as a filter, turned up 28 videos. Of those vids, 7 are for When You Come Back to Me Again, 8 are for the Dance, and 4 are for Standing Outside the Fire, and 2 are not available for download, leaving only 7 videos to choose from. And most of them aren't very good... *pouts*
Also, I'm a big fan of up-and-coming tradtionalist artists, like Jimmy Wayne and Phil Vassar, and nobody seems to want to use them. Most people take mainstream songs by mainstream artists and use them, completely ignoring all the really great people who haven't been around very long, or the old ones that have retired, like Ricky van Shelton.
Although I've never heard of Jerry Reed, I'll most certainly give your video a shot.

To Gallup - It's number 11 on his Fresh Horses CD, which is the only CD of his that I actually bought... In Pieces and the Hits, were both secondhand presents. Again, I stress my willingness to download your vid whenever you finish it, and I wish you luck!

What do you mean? If you get audio but no video, you probably don't have the right decoder installed. Download and install DivX and while you're at it, get XviD too. You may also want to consult the Playback Guide. Happy watching! :)

Some of my favorite country/bluegrass artists are Robin and Linda Williams, the Austin Lounge Lizards, Ralph Stanley, Allison Krauss and the late, great John Hartford.

Here are a few ideas for country/bluegrass AMVs I had running through my head:

Song: "Trying to Do Something to Get Your Attention" by John Hartford
Anime: Gravitation

Song: "Austin Minor Sympathy" by John Hartford
Anime: Azumanga Daioh; Love Hina

Song: "Bonfire of the Inanities" by the Austin Lounge Lizards
Anime: Excel Saga

Song: "Jesus Loves Me (But He Can't Stand You)" by the Austin Lounge Lizards
Anime: Chrono Crusade (focus on Rosette)

Song: "My Ain True Love" by Allison Krauss (from the soundtrack to Cold Mountain)
Anime: Saikano

Song: "O Death" by Ralph Stanley (from the soundtrack to O Brother, Where Art Thou?)
Anime: Grave of the Fireflies

Song: "They Have Never Been in Love" by Robin and Linda Williams
Anime: Ah! My Goddess; Ai Yori Yoshi

Song: "They All Faded Away" by Robin and Linda Williams
Anime: Omaide Poro Poro

Song: "Never Far Away" by Jack White (from soundtrack to Cold Mountain)
Anime: Voices from a Distant Star

Song: "Home Brew Rag" by the New Roanoke Jug Band
Anime: Various anime characters getting drunk

Whaddaya think?
"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again...then quit and get tanked."

Although I'm not very familiar with most of those songs, I'm sure they're awesome. I have a few ideas up on my profile, gimme a sec and I'll go get 'em.... *runs off*
Back! Okay, here are just a few:
The Change, by Garth Brooks ~ Ai Yori Aoshi
What Might Have Been, by Diamond Rio(?) ~ Gundam Wing
The Race is On, by Sawyer Brown ~ Love Hina
More later; my brain is fried, and I'm supposed to be babysitting.

See, the only thing about such a topic like this one is that I believe any genre of music can lead to a fan made video if the work and creativity is put into it. Used to be people didn't think rap music could be use but now people are making them left and right for AMVs. I saw a country one by Ashyukun done for MTAC this year and it was highly entetrtaining. I don't know if he's uploaded it yet or not, but you might like watching it. For my part, I've actually got an idea for a country AMV, but don't know when or if I'll have time to do it... :(
