One of the best stories out there, and it looks like it only gets better and better.

As for the anime ... I'll probably wait for the domestic release.
I;ve read on more than 1 place that the anime is aqctually a very good adaption of the manga. I have not read the manga myself, so i cannot offer any validity to this comment, but I will say that the anime has grabbed my attention quite well, and I'm eagerly awaiting the next episodes.

I think older teen to younger adult girls in particular will realy enjoy this show, because of its down to earth nature (and age group of the chars and topics involved) I think it'd be easy to relate to. But I could be wrong, afterall I'm not a girl.

I also rather enjoy that it doesn;t seem to have any of that break up and get back together over stupid reasons that plague many other shoujo romance series.... *cough* Fushigi yuugi *cough*

Alright, Episode 6 was mostly just a recap of episode 1, with a few new scenes, and narated by the cheery Nana. Nothing particularly new happens in this episode, but sets us up for the events to start taking place in Tokyo between the 2 Nanas for episode 7.

nana no nana was quite entertaining

what happens in Episode 7:
The 2 nanas finally move in together, but Junko chews her out for moving in with a total stranger. She waits for Souji to come home to tell him the news also, but he is late. She goes off on this wild imagination that Souji is 2 timming her with an imaginary girl named Sachiko (a girl she pretty much makes up on the spot), but in reality he had accidentally sent the mail to Junko telling Nana that he would be late. When souji finally gets home, after some comedic moments, She tells Souji, and Soji tells her the same thing as Junko about moving in with a strager. They then decide to meet the other Nana. They come to the conclusion that shes even weirder than their nana, but feel releived that her lawyer friend is taking care of them. Junko's byfriend Kyosuke totally seems to like the other Nana (even comments that shes totaly his type) so Junko has to drag him outa there.
Quite a bit of humerous moments in this episode. I accidentally read a partial spoiler somewhere (about this Sachiko she made up) though that makes me want to see what happens now.... Oh the wait....

Next is Episode Hachi(8), insidentally also Nana's Nickname ;p

I also realy like the ending song to this series. Must hunt down the soundtrack....If its even out yet. [/quote]

Frankly, I didn't drop the show. I'm just waiting for my preferred group to fansub it, but they seemed to be having delays. :?

Interestingly enough, according to this:

...Nana is planned for 50 episodes.

There must be a number of manga volumes the producers have to go through.

Episode 9: We get to finally hear Nana sing! although its just like an early rendition of the opening song, since that is the song she sings in this episode, just without all the backup instruments and random words, since lyrics have not been written for it yet. (in the story) still pretty cool to watch :D

pretty entertaining episode with its share of quirky H&C like humor l love about this series, along with sone descent character development between the 2 Nanas.

Nana 10
Sachiko realy appears at Souji's work! And shes realy cute too! Remember Sachiko was a made up girl Hachiko(Nana) made up as the girl She keeps saying Souji was cheating on her for.
Looks like things might start heating up soon!

Lots of humerous moments in this episode too, with Rock Nana, and Hachiko Nana helps find an ultra Bishonen guy That looks like 15 as their new Bassist, and turns out:
He admires Ren alot, and plays the Bassist just like him, pose, tallent, everything. Nana recognizes it right away ;p Needless to say they accept him to the band, but Nana gives him one condition: To become better than Ren.
Can't wait for next episode!

Noooo, my preferred group dropped it because their translator went AWOL!!! :x

No matter, I did managed to catch up to episode 10 which was really amusing.
Especially since Sachiko DOES exists!
Man, it's great that Hachiko got "rewarded" from Nana for her efforts in this episode. I hope we get to see more "rewards"! 8-)

haha Hachiko's broke, and she blew away all her money on junk
not to mention
Potential spoiler wrote:shes out of a job now, the manager took her out to eat to tell her the news, but of course Hachiko gets the wrong idea and thinks hes going to confess to her  I pretty much predicted that was what he was going to say though.
some interesting developments in this episode.... especially since:
Spoiler Shield wrote:Sachiko looks to have developed feelings for Shouji, and purposely misses the train for this reason, though Nana calls him at that moment and she figures out he already has a girlfriend. To make matters more complicated, Shouji seems atracted to her and seems conflicted over it. I personally think Shachiko is probably the better girl for him though, Nana is too spoiled
and at the very end:
Spoiler Shield wrote:Yasu suddenly appears at Nana's door! and with all his equipment too. Now with their old drummer, Blast! is complete as a band, maybe we'll get to see some action soon in this area, although the fact that the bassist bisho-boy is actually only 15 may cause potential problems in the future..... :?
