i've found my videos on youtube before.
they didn't remove my studio bumpers, but i asked them to remove the videos. every time, they've complied, and i havn't had to flag anything.

i check every once and awile for a few of my more popular titles. nothings turned up in the past month.

i don't want my amvs to be represented with youtube quality. also, all 5 or so times my beavis and butthead amv has made it up there, the audio went out of sync and made the lipsync look n00b-ish

It happens deal with it. If you realy dont want your video stolen, encode it in h264 (mp4). That way youtube noobs cant steal it. =|

And overlay your studio tag or url or something in the bottom corner of the vid...kinda half transparent like broadcasters do. That way at least if it's stolen, it represents :D

But as for me. In most cases I don't care if someone takes my clips. If they post my video on an other site I'm flattered. I bet most people here who are well known mainstream editors definitely have a video that someone put on youtube. I've found my own videos on youtube and I'm flattered. So I say, unless it's some deliberate attack on you, witch I don't think it is.. then this is promotion to your video and someone went out of their way to post it, so why get hot headed? Even if someone tried claiming my work as their own I might not get pissed.

haha the problem is, i think that the people at hosatchel don't really care who made the video (majority doesn't). Also, most don't care how well its done, like we do here, because to them, every amv is good (even though those amvs lack decent timing and were just long unedited clips). So why bother with them crediting your works when those comments there are unprofessional?
There's one somebody stole my video, upload it and did another one with the same scene sequence but with a different song. I was so damm pissed off. but i learned not to care anymore. Even if they happen to watch the same video with different song, i doubt they'll know its stolen work. hosatchel is just an another alternative tv channel. don't get so upset about it

OMG, this is so true! It's like "omg I like that song, and I like that show! A+" or "OMG that animation roxxors! That song rules! A+"

The videos I find their with little timing.. little anything actually that get between a 4-5 their, I find here getting below a 3. I don't watch amvs at that site really. I have only one time seen a video that I thought was cool there that made me want to look for it here, some guy had it uploaded who also had my corrosive video uploaded. Maybe the guy just has good taste! >.>
