Actually it's on my top 10 favorite anime list. Even though it is admittedly a litle slow at some points, and many of the action sequences are using recycled footage, the storyline and character development can't be beat.

Plus, for those of you who haven't seen all of this show, the finale is a real knockout that does not end the way you would imagine at all.

One of my first animes..
I think it's truly great, it gave me shivers in every episode!
I don't know if it is just because it was one of my first animes and I wasn't used to anime awesomeness back then, but it's a fact that it did.
The soundtrack is incredible also!

Noir... noir noir noir....

What can I say apart from the fact that I loved the music? That was probably the only factor that pushed me to finishing the entire series.

Other than that, I was annoyed by the frequent (and pointless) 5 minute flashbacks every. single. episode.

I swear that the producers must have thought they were dealing with 5 year olds who have a short memory, because the frequency of those flashbacks becomes intolerable.

Of course, this is just my opinion, I've seen people who actually enjoyed watching it, but for me, I just wished I had bought the album and had never laid eyes on the anime.

There were flashbacks?

Not as many, but you can't say we didn't see the watch scene at least 7-8 times :uhoh:
