She's seen Azumanga Daioh and a few Miyazaki films. I think she still watches Naruto on CN.
I am not showing her Lucky Star or Air TV.

The rest is fair game I think, so long as its dubbed.

However, I found out that when they brought it over here, they unnecissarily shaved off a lot of the meat that made the anime. I'd like to give her the original, but I can't find a complete English-dubbed version. The only English-dubbed versions I have found were Cardcaptors, and every complete 70 episode version I've found was Sub only.
Any thoughts on this matter?
The only way to get the full series is to get the subbed. Nelvana only dubbed the butchered "Cardcaptors." Though CCS would be an excellent show when she gets old enough. And unless you are looking for the implied yuri/yaoi, it's perfect for youngins.

Since Air is out, I guess that includes Kanon as well.

Maybe Kaleido Star? Though the fool is a little perv at times so that is a toss up.

Aside from that, everything else I can think of would be inappropriate in your eyes.

I'm not showing her Air because I didn't like it, not because it wasn't appropriate. It felt like the whole thing was just skewn and miserable. I was enjoying it up until the part when Yukito turned into a crow, and then I was like  It wasn't good for me.
Kanon is a definite possibility, since i actually own the entire series on DVD, but I am not sure what she'll think of my sappy romance stuff.

So, is Cardcaptors on its own a decent show? Or is it completely butchered because of the censoring? I want more than one opinion.

There is always Lucky Star. I think it would suit a younger audience.
