They put it in caps because....they're the Japanese and I guess they think it looks better that way. I honestly don't know, but my explanation does have merit with what I know about Japanese and English.Propyro wrote:well they wy they had every thing spelled, SEELE, NERV ... i sort of figured that they were acronyms ... hmmm, interesting though. I always thought the word Evangelion had some to do with angels ... i just can't remember what at the moment.
As for Evangelion you COULD extrapolate it to "Evangelism"

Oh lol. I wasnt addressing you personally. I was kind of addressing everybody as a whole just trying to help out. =P I liked what your teacher said, it made sense. I go to a private school so I hear a lot of different ideas of what the story (adam and eve) truely ment and that one was one of the ones I have heard.
Propyro wrote: woah wait a minuite ... when did i take a literalist interpretation of the bible? I explained one of my teachers views of what the story of adam and eve could have represented symbolicaly ... or a reasonable account of what could have happened of an omnipotent god actualy went and created man as it's stated in the bible. Personaly i couldn't care less for religion, after studying world religion i jsut noticed that msot of the world religions are the exact same thing, just with slightly different fine print. To me the bible is nothing but a collection of old/odd stories and interesting old sayings that make up a guide that suggests a better way to lead you life. However it is interesting to study the world religions as they make fairly good windows to view forign cultures with, exspecialy eastern religions (Buddhism in particular).

umm i think that was jsut somone saying there is no meaning to eva and teh whole movie and series is just a drug induced story. And there could be a little truth to that ... some of the stuff that happens in Eva is quite odd. (no i'm not discounting eva as being totalyderived from drugs ... i'm jsut saying they may have been used to help get the creative juices flowing)AtomicWeezleman wrote:but i dont blame you, it was the page where all eva fans were acused of being on drugs........
