I suppose I should be, everything is how I want it but then I read Junky by William S Burroughs and On The Road by Jack Kerouac and now something feels weird. I don't know if I am happy and not noticing or just plain empty. I think I need to to hit the bottom to realise what I have now.

I'd rather hear people talk about how grateful they are to have something valuable to them than whine about something they don't have. But that's the impossible-to-break optomistic motivator in me... [that could border on arrogance, but there is good arrogance out there sometimes...]
