Paying the normal price of a normal box set of anime on dvd makes me enough of a fan already

Especially when some of my friends that KNOW I can download any damned anime on dvd already (if I feel like being a cheap bastard) wonder why I would want to spend ANY money on the actual dvds in the first place.

But I LIKE having the real thing for series that actually mattered to me.

I'm just not that easy to taunt with silly little doodads. And a tshirt meant to emulate a fuku is just too silly for me (example given is in this case from the deluxe Lucky Star dvds).

Well the money went more into the 3 extra DVDs (not 4 as I thought by mistake) and single CDs.

So, Im assuming the "swag" is just Haruhi memorabilia?
I think I'd rather go with the both set. Doesn't sound worth quadrupling the price over.

I'm honestly surprised that there are people who don't know what "swag" is. Then again... I only recently learned (about 2 months ago) what "GLOMP" is.

Ordered the Haruhi Box Set off of Rightstuf.com last week. Turns out the orders are so backed up that I may not get it for another month.

And I saw it just sitting there on the shelf at Best Buy today...

Got mine from Best Buy and only had to ait week and a hal for it to become available...
