Why would there be a french article about something german...norwegian...whatever that is on the sign?

That protest was in the Gaza strip in Israel, so obviously that isn't German or Norwegian on that sign

The lead paragraph is as follows:\

Haruhi Suzumiya in Gaza
According to this afpbb article, during a recent Gaza City protest against Hamas, a young girl brandished a placard with a picture of Haruhi Suzumiya that said, "Stop Killing the Children." The protest was in reaction to a drive-by-shooting in which 3 children died. Thanks W-General.

my bad but you don't have to bite my head off. I know a lot of languages but not German, so I thought that was what it was

It is kind of funny considering that the sign is obviously in Arabic, and that German uses the same alphabet English does, plus a few letters *AHEM-EnglishcomesformGerman-AHEM*
