Sorry for the silence, I've been really busy. I just moved from DC to Florida, and then my computer crashed and I lost EVERYTHING! So now I'm starting from scratch. I'll try to have at least one clip in by the final day and you can still use my old tag since I don't even have a copy of that.
I'll even shoot for your requested commercials in repentance, how's that sound?

I'm happy you're still alive. There seems to be a lot of computer trouble going around recently. Unfortunately, I'm not immune. The hard drive needs to be replaced before this thing crashes. On the upside, I'll have increased storage capacity and hopefully a DVD drive.

Would have been a good idea Deucy, but at any rate the whole season will be out by then, I can prolly make an amusing Valkryie trailer.

By the way have you heard of Hetalia? It's a good parody of worldwide stereotypes and world war 2. Quite amusing.

Can't say that I have. There's a lot out there I haven't heard of and even more I haven't seen yet, so it doesn't surprise me when I see a strange title or few in the credits. I actually hope there will be more variety this time around. So far, it looks promising...

If you were to edit it all together right now, about how long do you think it would end up being? Because if it's a bit short, I'll truly get off my ass and make a whole mess more.

Good question. I should check their video submission deadlines. I doubt AMVS3 will be finished in time, but I should ask them about the other two. Also remember that this one premieres at Otakon as the others have...

Sooo I just downloaded about 1 hour plus in English commercials, so I'll prolly get you some of those AMV's as well
Unfortunately my old box crashed and burned (well no, the OS disk got f00ked ) so I'll have to get Premiere working again. If there was anything to fix in my older submissions I'd like you to tell me sooner rather than later, so I can recover some of the raw material
Although, most of it was on another disc, so prolly there's no problem.

It's really hard getting good material though. I've got a Dutch 'funniest commercials'-show, but most of it is.. in Dutch, requires knowledge of Dutch customs or companies or the 'host' of the show is talking right through some of it. Very annoying. Right now I'm looking at a rip I got from usenet.. at least it's all in English.

But thinking about it.. All we do in this project (commercials) is to 'remake' the commercial, using only the sound, right?
We aren't allowed to make any adjustments to it, or to shorten it?

Right. The idea is to use anime to redo the commercial visually. But yeah, I'll shoot you the brief commentary on your last clip. I owe at least one other person hat as well...

What part of hte head-on commercial do you want for those clips? Full commercial or just hte "Head-on Apply directly to the forehead" x 3?
