Presumably for the same reason that it's always a middle school girl in her uniform that is chosen as the person to save the world.

Still, if I was going to be getting shot at and shooting back, I'd want like, Cargo pants or BDU pants, t-shirt and a vest of some sort with lots of pockets. (Preferably the bullet proof kind!)

Though I am trying to figure out how to get a school uniform work with a leg pistol holster under the skirt...
