[DriftRoot]

I hate threads like this.

SO what the hell is a DriftRoot? It's like driftwood, only it's a root. I coined this term back when I discovered one of said roots at the beach and used it enthusiastically for several years in assorted art projects, before my sister's parakeet pecked off most of its cool bark and left little white splotches all over it.

It now resides above my computer and I am deeply attached to it. Oh right, how'd it get to be my user name...way back, when the Internet was first popping up in homes across America, I was intensely averse to something like Lauren4433999 or ILikeHorses, and decided DriftRoot was weird and cute and meaningful and memorable. It's all mine, it's taken a long time for anyone else out there in Internet land to try and swipe it, it was banned from IRC (not my fault...kinda) and it's not going away.

DriftRoot also gives rise to completely random, but kindly, nicknames like Drift, Drifty and DaftRoot, which I always appreciate.

Me too I hate threads like this.

My nickname sadly it's just my real name, when I registered here I was a noob of the web, so in the end I just signed up making tests, and the one that turned out well was this one.. And since I never thought that Amvs and Editing could possibly ever reach so much importance for me, I leaved it like it was; but my true nickname is "Mike of the Desert", who knows Naruto (who does not? ) can understand the affinity with "Gaara of the Desert", but even if the base is that one, my nickname borned (also) from more deepful thoughts.

Besides, my Studio name, "TwinLight Studios", borned from the word "Twilight", changed in "Twin" because the studio is been created when my sister started to do "seriously" music videos, reaching a level of editing that deserved mention, and since then we also worked together. So, "TwinLight Studios" borned. "TwinLight" was also the title of an old forum I used to frequent, that was just "Twilight" spelled wrongly, since that forum meant a lot for me, there is also this strange motivation. And sorry for my english, is night and I'm not an expert.
