Been staying away from games lately, but recently started The Longest Journey on PC (can't say I'm a big fan, can't really get into it, as opposed to Syberia or The Black Mirror, which got me that game recommended). Been playing a bit of Heavenly Sword on the PS3 and Apartment in Berlin.

Finally renewed my Game Informer subscription (free gift cards FTW), and surprise surprise, the issue I got had a little article about Silent Hill 2 and 3 being re-released in HD for the PS3 (and 360, I think).

FUCK YEAH.

No, I possess neither a PS3 nor an HDTV, but hey, if ever there was incentive, I have found it.

As for the game I'm playing (or just finished, rather), I said I was working on "The Imprisoned Spirits" from the Tomb Raider Level Editor. I kept reminding myself that it is fanmade, so whenever I felt the need to RAGEQUIT, I held it off. Honestly, though, it's poorly made. I learned about two-thirds of the way through that I'm actually playing a first prototype-ish version and not the new-fangled one that everybody seems to think is gold. Still, according to the builder, he said there weren't many changes to the actual gameplay, so I don't know. Crap still sounds like crap to me. Thirteen levels of "Let's set Lara on fire and drop her in lava because we're too stupid to come up with better traps." I downloaded some of the highest rated levels, so we'll see about those. I believe I'm starting with "Himalayan Mysteries." Crossing my fingers now.

This. I've got the technic pack installed, which includes buildcraft, industrialcraft and a shitload of other stuff. Building a nuclear reactor atm. Hope I don't blow up the huge npc village above my basement...

That's a really fun mod. I also love the alchemy mod when combined with those.

Indeed. I'm loving how much stuff you can do with it, it feels like a complete game. Just, I wish there was a way to combine all 7000 wrenches into one, lol.
