I'll let somebody else post the full ACen results since I don't have all the names in front of me. Suffice to say that this video did win an award.

I was/am extremely impressed! You're a serious up-and-comer Scintilla :) You're definitely on my radar now. I watched 3 showings of the contest and each time the audience went crazy. So, right on!

awesome work :O but something is stopping me from saying "OMG!!!!" can't quite place it but i think it's something on the lines of, "The technical aspect is amazing, but the video has already been outlined and it's just a matter of producing the same thing with different footage" know what i mean? That itself is no easy task though. but i have this feeling of i've seen it before but it looks different, so it doesn't strike me as "OMG!" that also is something great. the video feels so much like the CB opening :P

any way, awesome job!! definatly soemthing to remember when the next VCA's roll around

Yep. I'd say this is a great contender for best concept/most artistic video this year.

Just a few quick notes: I think the color thing towards the end was confusing, but the little flash on the final title - that was a great touch. I think Kaji looked the most pimp out of everyone (although I guess he's the least out-of-place Eva character as far as the Bebop world would go).

The bus thing looked kind of silly, and I think the 'three pilots' thing was a bit out of the bebop feel, but not too major. Flying Rei rawks though.

Eh! This enough to put into an op! /scurries to do so
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Seriously, I was sitting through ACen's Award Ceremony, going, "OK, Best Comedy - it's gotta be Alternative Eva Opening! Wait, what?! OK, then maybe Best Technical...huh?! Oh, Best Original Idea, that's it, he's got that locked up! WHAT?!?!?!?!"

Duh, of course, Best in Show!
And well-deserved. Congratulations!

To paraphrase one Mr. Cool James, please refrain from referring to it as a revival, I've been lurking for ages.

Nice job, Mr. Household Name. 8) That was fun to watch, and "Tank!" was stuck in my head half of the day after that.

Wow, every anime should have an alternate opening with "Tank!" as the theme song!

I think you all are going a little too far with the VCA thing ..because it's just a "show opening", but that was really really cool.

I was laughing like crazy watching this...especially with the flying Rei.

The only thing that seemed wrong was the white bar with "Directed by Hideaki Anno". Other than that, this was an absolutely amazing AMV!

...and the ending part...is that music from Super Mario Bros. 2? I also noticed how you made the credits like and your studio name to look like [Adult Swim]. Good stuff...I was planning on doing something like that. Poo.
