Are you so naïve to think that big media has your interests in mind?x_rex30 wrote:What the hell?? Them doing that is stupid. Theres a lot of addictive video editors that want to mess with footage. If they were actually able to make the copy write protection 100% guaranteed to work, people like me who get more of a need to buy anime and stuff for source footage will have less of a need to get them.

That wasnt copy protection, that was just Bandai sucking at making dvd menus.got2maskit wrote:One of my DVD's were actually unplayable on my computer (Trigun Sig series #1, haven't tried any of the other discs), but it was playable on a DVD player.Otohiko wrote:I guess the only remaining solution to save the DVD industry is making the discs unplayable

wouldnt "FRAPS" work?
I just recently recorded WWE "No Way OUT" live via webcam on my WMP with fraps running.
Granted the .avi files was HUGE in the end, approx 30gig the entire pay per view... but it worked and now I can make videos out of this past month PPV WWE thanks to FRAPS...
so, no matter what, I think FRAPS should work. Cause it will work with WMP and Divx Player... those r the only 2 programs I use to playback files.
And I assume majoirty pc holders has those 2 in thier list.
