What I do is when I run into a mental block on a certain part of a video I normally skip over it and come back to it later. Usually the sceens that surround that one part of the video you have a block on will make it eaiser to find the sceen you want to make it flow. Of course I also normally plan out my amv's on paper first before I start constructing them. So I normally don't run into this problem. The only time I do run into is trying to remember where that darn sceen was.

The video seemed pretty run-of-the-mill to me. An action video to a rock song. =\ The action editing is solid. The video sort of lacks a solid central idea, so it doesn't really keep the attention too well. You have something interesting going with the colours in the beginning, but you kinda abandon that. Overall, it's not really a terrible video, but it is quite generic. The weakest point is the lack of cohesion.
Don't take this as an insult, but to be honest, I'd consider abandoning this. The video isn't going to flow any better than it already is if you don't know what you're doing next. You don't have anything extraordinary in this video. Of course, you will lose the work you've done, but I think with your skill editing action you could make something really good if you had a good idea to start from.
Like some people have said, plan the whole thing out beforehand next time. =\
