I thought Akito was the dragon, too, until I saw the one where Hatori transforms (admittedly, he turns into a seahorse, rather than a Chinese dragon).
Akito's actual position in the Zodiac is apparently rather...odd.
I haven't read the manga, just heard things about it.
Kagura has a weird obession with Kyo, but I think she feels for him more out of pity then love.
Kyo spent his life being ostracised from the Sohmas, and Kagura does appear to be the one family member other than Kazuma who reaches out to him directly. In the anime at least, if he doesn't run from her, Kyo seems to tolerate Kagura. In the last episodes, there is a flashback to them as children.
I quite liked the anime as it was. I don't know if I'll start investing in the manga myself, I'll probably borrow it off people if I am able.
Question for those who have seen the whole series:

In one of the last episodes, she is talking about the Cat's 'true form' (and how Tohru doesn't - at that point - know) and says:
"How can you expect a girl who knows something like that to stop caring!!?"

The last episode:
Does the scene between Tohru and Akito happen in the manga? I am beginning to suspect that it doesn't having heard that the anime was created from what material the creators had at the time. I don't like the way they ended the anime. It was too neat and happy. You just can't get around a person like Akito that easily. The man is obsessive, dangerously so.

Oh....I get it now! The horse and rooster are both revealed in the manga.Shaam wrote:Merci Solaria!
@Queen Kay: I was looking for summaries. And I'd like to know what character is the dragon, beacuse at one moment an hippocampus appears and I don't know if it is the symbol for the horse or for the dragon...
MAJOR SPOILER!
I think this is a spoiler but just in case. Highlight:
Akito is not part of the zodiac. He represents the god at the banquet. The horse is in the manga known as Rin and she has a relationship with Hatsuharu. The rooster is in the manga known has Kureno and I think he has a relationship with Akito...
