What Vid editing Software you using and where did you got it

i use Adobe Premiere Pro, got it through UPS in the mail...
and imphill, there is a STICKY THREAD at the TOP of this forum, labeled "AMV Software Lists" Go look in there, there is a detailed description of ALOT of software there along with WHERE to get, how much and the pros and cons of each.
the list there is MUCH more comprehensive than here...

just a reminder, it is AGAINST the rules to post a link to warez, cracks and what not. so if you wishing that maybe someone will post a link to one, you can forget it. your best bet is buying it or using trial.

I use a text editor to open the AVI and edit it directly from there.

I must say I prefer this method as well, much more intimate. But to save on time, I've been using Premiere 6 LE. It's basically a stripped down version of the program, and it came with my wife's laptop. I don't really know why though, 'cause her laptop is too weak to really make vids anyway. It's like putting a 6-speed transmission on a moped.
