would it be possible to do an amv thats completely of manga? Or is manga pushed into other sources? At least two thirds of the footage must be from Japanese Animation. The remainder may be provided from other sources such as Live Action or North American animation.

I seem to recall that the Innuyasha and Kagome AMV from the 2004 competition contained a number of manga images, but not a whole entry's worth. Still it sounds like an intriguing idea. I'd say go for it, but make sure you explain your reasoning in the artistic vision statement.flash1616 wrote:would it be possible to do an amv thats completely of manga? *sigh* Sorry to change things up again, but I've been informed that the Anime North ConCom has bought a DivX/Xvid player for the AMV competition's use. Thus our Video Tech has asked that any entries be sent in DivX encoding rather than HuffYUV. We'll try to change the web rules as soon as possible, but in the meantime please spread the word that we would prefer DivX over HuffYUV.

Any chance of knowing the brand & model of player? Might help if we could look it up at videohelp.com and get a feeling for compatibility issues, etc.Initial B wrote:*sigh* Sorry to change things up again, but I've been informed that the Anime North ConCom has bought a DivX/Xvid player for the AMV competition's use.
