Me and shattered flame should open a hate everything but anime club. My friend chronosabre also suffers from 'never watch tv cause it sucks'. I'm guessing there's a notable number of people who don't watch normal tv here.

Gotta admit that i'll miss the old chicken, after gawking at the first episode of DBZ i ever watched as a kid (and trying to repeat said episode with a friend at school ) then of course things went downhill but it made a good enough impression on me. Thanks Tom i'm gonna miss ya!

This is American [aka edited to high shits] TV we're referring to. Watching anime on American TV is like watching a porno on Sesame Street. Ain't gonna happen without boatloads of editing and chopping and removing some important details.

Sooo.... have you watched any anime on tv in the last ten years? I can think of two shows that were badly cut, because they were picked up by 4 kids. that's it, two shows.

Ya know... I can't really complain about the anime shown on G4 (WAS shown...), sci fi channel and if you get the int'l... er asiatv. I know sci fi STILL has animidnight, saw it a few weeks ago. But anyway your just talking about Cartoon Network. It's CARTOON NETWORK for god's sakes!!

I'm old so huhm. I mean, I was 20 when Cowboy Bebop was introduced to prime time TV, old enough to remember anime shown on FOX and ABC!!! ABC slaughtered anime the worse... but than how bad can you really slaughter Cardcaptor (not Sakura) and Digimon.
