Hey hey hey lets not be so harsh, sirmichaelvalentine has a long and outstanding history of making quality AMVs. One subpar video (rushed and uninspired, no less) would tarnish their record and they simply would prefer to withdraw than risk such a blemish on their career.

well i really wanted to try for this contest but it looks like i have to drop out because i just cant work with the song group b got i cant work with techno music i tryed so many different videos and nothing goes with this song im sure someone else can make it work but i cant so ill wait for project org Editor im sure im not the only one having trouble with the song being picked for us at least org Editor lets us pick our own song ill never join another randomized song picking contest again contest's should let us pick our own songs not randomly picking em for us i bet you so far this is the only one that does this next time try keeping the rules same as every other contest 1 on 1 you get your stuff ready including song you picked i bet you anything im not the only one having trouble with this but wont admit it im out sorry guys

Hey can you bend the rules for me because I am a longtime upstanding member of the community (and also a personal friend of the staff), also I promise not to troll the competition with some My Little Pony video edited to the completely wrong song (because anyone who knows me knows that is something I would do in this exact situation (except I won't do it this time (except I probably will because I like to troll like that!))).

Also seriously, if you can't find the drive to push your own creative boundaries within a set of rules to which you had previously agreed, you probably need to get the fuck out of this hobby.

No no no, if you've seen me around at all, it's from my previous work in collaborative efforts like: Brad's IC (spectacular round 2 flop) Project Org Editor last year (made a shitty 5 second video, then complained I didn't get a free pass via the >50% drop rate) or my shining achievement the Improv Project (widely acclaimed worst video in the project AND worst song choice to give to someone else) but hey, I was just trying to point out that there's really no point in not TRYING. My video for THIS thing is gonna suck too. I have all the same complaints sirmichaelvalentine does. I'm still working on it though. I didn't quit with more than 2 days left.

i apologize for this but i tryed to do something with that song i really don't work with or even listen to techno ish music im very good at what i do go see my account to see what i mean. i can make a very good pop video metal video slow video hell i can even work with rap and country.but that type of music is just to hard for me to work with when i make a amv i like to use music that tells a story somewhat. look plain and simple i apologize for taking up a space if i was gonna drop out i thought i could follow the rules but i guess i cant work with someone else picking my song for me again i apologize.if anyone's in project org editor contest you'll see what i got for that i hope you like it.
