Wish I could say something, but the pic is just not coming up. I think my internet is screwed up right now. I can't even see the emoticons. But I'm sure it's great. I'll tell you when my computer will let me see it.Clara Yuri Asaki wrote:Thanks Anime Jedi! ^_^

Cartoon includes comics, and animation, ALL ANIMATION. Animation includes that which is done by hand with computers or using clay. Anime is a name given to all Japanese animation therefore since it is animation it is a cartoon. I want to so GO TSUJI MANIA for yelling at all the nimrods who cannot get it thru their skulls that anime is a type of cartoon sure its not Sat. Morning stuff but they are 'toons. I adore anime and I study cartoons daily as it is my passion and life so I see the anime people getting bashed for "watching cartoons" as that is what they are doing and they do what these people are doing calling it anime and pretending that it is different. Anime for the most part (not including Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh, ect.) is considered to be for adults. Going by the definition many have stated that Anime is for adults/teens and cartoons are for children, how do you classify Simpsons, South Park, Baby Blues, Home Videos, Futurama, Dilbert, or King of teh Hill?

I'm so sorry Anime Jedi!! Ahhhh.. it's my fault the Emoticons or My Sig isn't showing up. I think if I change my Sig to a JPG instead of the Bitmap that it now, a-m-v.org might not have trouble loading it. Since it never finishes loading my Sig Pic, it won't go on to the rest the stuff (Emoticons) SORRY!!!

I would say animes ARE cartoon. These days the word cartoon just means anything that is animated, not just kids animated shows. The Simpsons aren't for little kids, but they are still a cartoon.South Park definetly isn't for kids, but it's still a cartoon. The fact that it is animated, to me, makes anime cartoons. They are just exceptionally well done cartoons, compared to american ones. Sorry if any or all of this has been said before, I didn't read through the thread before posting ^^.
