Unfortunately, I do feel quite a bit older, but that's what happens when you start working and whatnot. So...tired...

hrm, i work for goverment employment agency.. i even have my own office so yer, i understand.. Hanging around with the 'boys' seems a little different now a days.

Hanging out with the boys? Actually...most people within the community I talk to on a regular basis are my age or older (Tim, Tim/Fluxy, Vlad, Hsien, Corbo, Andy and so on). I actually think the vast majority of people that I post/comment to are around my age (probably a bit younger...lower 20's). However, there are the few who are in their teens and well...no offense, but it generally shows

I guess it's worth a read. I found most Greek plays to be pretty boring. I mean they have meaning and whatnot, but nothing that a few pages couldn't explain .

I think read it Sophmore year in HS English, but you've already established that you hate your school and it sucks . I'd much rather read Crime & Punishment or the Metamorphasis in Grade 12 English than Oedipus Rex.

keep in mind that you did AP classes ... or was that jsut your last year that you did AP's? Either way, you apparantly had a much better time at school then i have ... you got to do a lot of cool books and had an iteresting english teacher. However you didn't heave the very cool, near psychotic Mr. Mykytyn as an art/religion teacher ... that guy was cool ... (to bad i have to say good by to him this year.) Or the painfully sarcastic Mr. Reid ... the stories this guy has, and the way he even fakes pretending to care are just halarious. Well ok, I've had a few interesting teachers, but still ...

yea a persons mental maturity is often evidnet in their posts, but you would just have to know how to gauge that to figure out how mature of a person it is yoru talking to. Because it would probably be very easy to under or over rate a person.

I fucking hate high school, it's full of stupid people, and stupid tedious work, so I leave as soon as I can.

Problem with this is I'm not there long enough tot ake too many classes I don't have to.

I'll probably take a TON of Roman literature, Roman Philosophy, and Roman history when I get into college, i might even minor in Latin as I'm planning on POSSIBLY majoring in French. Being a Romance lagnuage, it'll help my french, and it's Romantic, so + there!

But as of the moment, I'm pretty un educated. I'm only at school for a couple hours of so =/

And yes, i know this conversation is mainly Greek, but I'm Italian, and I like Rome. So

yea i feel the same about a lot of peopel i'm stuck with at school. It almost seems like a waste of time to be there on some days. But htats cool, minoring in latin, i've always liked latin more then modern romantic languages. Even italian, which is actualy my first language, then i started watching tv and forgot italian and learned english ... i wish that never happened ... my parents and grand parents should have kept me away from that idiot box when i was a kid ...

meh big deal, i started talking about greek theater and how i never studied and how freud got insparation for many of the terms he coined from greek theater. This thread's been knocked off topic several times already, so who cares, have fun.

Most of my AP is from my senior year (other than Calculus which I took Junior year). In all honesty, compared to my colleagues in college, my eductation was average to below average. Most of my friends came in with almost 2 years worth of college credit while I had less than a semester (shrug). Given, it was easy as hell since it was "average," but still I would've appreciated more college classes. The one exception was English. I had great English teachers.

i don't know how many times i ahve to say it, but lucky you. My grade 9 english teacher pretty much was, and problaby still is convinced that i'm retarded. My grade 10 english teacher was quite off ... kinda reminds me of the excessivly hyper teacher from FLCL (you should add to your "to-see" list), and thats coming form a person who's generaly regarded as hyper. My grade 11 english teacher wasn't neccesarily the greatest teacher, but he was a fun teacher (coached me in wresteling and rugby). My current english teacher is a pretty good teacher and he's pretty fun if your into sarcastic humor and strange southern california stories. All in all i've had 2 english teachers i liked, but becasue i liek them dosn't neccesarily make them great teachers. But still theyre the best i've got and i'll jsut ahve to go with it.
