Oh, and about that Strip poker game, I beat that on my first try in like 5 minutes, it wasnt that great. The art was lousy, and it was like only 5 pics total. You want something decent, look up an artist named Moguden or something like that, you dont even have to play a stupid game.

The graphics look neat, but I can't say super-impressive.

Put it this way, if the game is really good, they'll have to port it to PC sometime.

On the other hand, I'd like the Japanese or European subbed version of this as opposed to US dubbed.

Well, who knows. I'm keeping a healthy skepticism until it comes out - though, admittedly, it is an interesting-looking proposition.

Evangelion 2 Announced!
Sure to both please and disappoint fans worldwide, Gainax Studios has officially announced development of a sequel to the classic 1995 Neon Genesis Evangelion anime TV series. Shin Seiki Evangelion 2 will be an interactive "Evangelion World Simulator" DVD game for the Playstation 2. The game will be created by Alfa System (the design studio most famous for the award winning Playstation SRPG Gunparade March) and supervised by Evangelion creator Hideaki Anno. The game will be released in Japan this November.

Those screens look more like a revisit or reimagine than a sequel. But I guess the Tomino-esque thing to say would be that it's just a giant robo anime. Aww hell, where the fuck is my Gundam Hammer?!!

Well, I look at the screenshots and see just plain old Eva. So, I don't think it's a sequel so much as yet another re-hash.

But, looks are looks, but make or break for this game is how well it manages to tell the story while maintaining gameplay... and that's a way-up-there goal...
