I face the other way, leaning back slightly, head tilted so i can see the monitor clearly but not yet choking on my own tongue. the chair is facing forward and my legs are bent up over the back, and my bum pushed against the back of the chair while my shoulder blades are resting on the edge of the seat. i find that the higher my ass is in the air, the better the AMV is. at least to me anyway.

Depends on what kind of editing i'm doing, if i'm just in the beginning stages, i sit leaning back into the chair (my comp desk has to little crossbars on the bottom that I put my feet on) and just relax. Its when I get into the close timing and the nitty gritty that my face tends to be drawn by the soft white glow of the screen (meaning my face is inches from the screen). Maybe thats why my vision is going?
