SAST: you've got up to 900 frames. use them wisely.
I thought the limit was 30 seconds?

Are you trying to say that we can't make our video at 120fps? :O

I guess if we lower the framerate, we can have a longer entry. :O

nope, tech rules give you your framerate options. ;p And you'll note I didn't say you had 'exactly,' i qualified it as 'up to'.

No, if the total goes over the nubmer of discs we request, we'll cover the difference. (With direct download, the demand is likely to be much lower.)

The rules on the website should be largely finalized; the new tech details for SAST are in there, as are the updates to all the other tech sections. Any remaining tweaking will be on the order of correcting typos. (Incidentally, if you encounter any, let me know... we might not spot them early on.)

In the long version: The dates for Pro and Expo do not match the dates on the main page (I think these are last years' dates).

In the cliff's notes version: "AWA 13 Contest you've entered" has not been updated in the "Digital Submissions" section.

Sorry about that. We wanted to get the rules (and specifically the due dates) out there as soon as possible. The website should be catching up shortly. Apologies to all the early birds and I'll post as soon as it's available.

Alrighty, the AWA VAT submissions website (www.awa-vat.org) is fully back up and ready for the new year of contests. If you've used the site before you should be familiar with the layout, and if you're new the interface is pretty intuitive. If you have any questions/problems please feel free to email me at vattechnical@gmail.com.

A couple bits real quick to remind people:
-Please use one account per person, one person per account. If you have a collaboration video choose one person to be the point of contact to use on the website and email me with the list of contributors. We'll get it documented accordingly.
-If you've forgotten your password email me and we'll get an email out to you with a reset password. Once you login you can change it to something more memorable.

Thanks!

Another con I wish I could attend, but can't. :(

Oh well, at least I can still submit an entry or two. :)

I'm pretty sure that I uploaded my videos successfully, but the "Status" on my videos still says pending. Is this correct?

[ON 6-6-08] - NVM, I'm just being impatient about this thing. I just can't wait to see these AMV's next to a live audience, and see their reactions. I'm just tired of having them disqualified for content even when I go out of my way to clean it up.
