The only music you can use is music which you yourself took some part in making.

I already see why this idea didn't go anywhere the first time. While there may be musicians on the 'org, I doubt enough of them want to or can (in terms of coherence) make an AMV to their own material.

Furthermore, you would likely be better off contacting directly those people you know of who do use their own songs. Chances are they don't frequent the MEP boards and won't see this notice.

You've chosen a rather tough concept for your project...

Yeah, i know it sounds tough. But i've pimped the threads in a few places, i have a few more people i can ask. One way or another, trust me, it's gonna get done. It'll take a while, but it's such a cool concept that I just can't force myself to give it up. And remember, anything can be edited to. Some music may look better then others when edited to, but you I've seen some videos with very strange music that actually i rather liked because of their uniqueness.

Lol, that would be hilarious. Unless you were being serious ... in which case ... all song will be screened ... and i doubt a beat box will pass unless ur gods gift to rap, lol.

Just make sure there's no audio noise

@nerd: i just thought of something, if you do that in 3 streams, left, right and center and used different rhythms for each, that could actually be pretty cool ...
