I'm probably off, but if I go by memory, Kintaro "cleans" three toilets in the entire OAV series; one each in episodes 1, 2, and 5.

I honestly don't remember Kintaro cleaning toilets in the other episodes; then again, it's been a while since I've seen all six eps at once.

*shrugs* Since it's been about 48 hours since motemote's question was posted, . . . Just remember, you ASKED for it.

This trivia question comes from the motion picture Hohokekyo -- Tonari no Yamada-kun. Yes, a Studio Ghibli question. And for those who HATE my long set-ups, sumimasen! And Yes, the Subject Line is a clue.

The scene is the Yamada's living room. The television is on, but no one's really watching; the only person present, Takashi (the Father), is reading the newspaper. Matsuko (the Mother) comes in because the movie SHE wants to watch is about to come on, but Takashi objects; HE'S not done with HIS program. Matsuko (very slowly) picks up the remote to change the channel, but JUST as the button is pressed -- Takashi uses his newspaper to block the signal; channel is unchanged. These two then go into an elaborate dance; the wife trying to change the channel, the husband trying to prevent it from happening.

Nonoko (the Daughter) and Shige (the Grandmother) are watching all of this from the side. Nonoko comments that, "now NO ONE can watch the TV," but Shige's response is that "this is MUCH more entertaining!" (It really IS! )

The Question (FINALLY!!): What was Takashi "watching" on television?

Some Kids have ALL the Luck!!!!

Well, it's past 24 hours, even WITH the end of Daylight Savings Time, and no answer. So, here comes a second question. Answer either one, the thread is yours.

As a reminder, here's the first question:

The Question : What was Takashi "watching" on television?
The second question comes from Steel Angel Kurumi. Specifically, the OAV episodes following the first season.

In one episode, Nakahito becomes one really REALLY popular dude. Nearly every Steel Angel from the Academy has got it in their heads that a kiss from the young boy's lips will transform them into an even MORE powerful Steel Angel (cases in point: Kurumi and Miharu/Mikhail). As a result, the temple is visited by DOZENS of Steel Angels, all of them wanting to play Tonsil Hockey w/ Nakahito -- something that Kurumi SERIOUSLY objects to! After all, "Master's" lips belong only to Kurumi!! (KYUIIN!)

Which leads to a competition. The Prize: young Nakahito. The participants: nearly ALL the Steel Angels from the Academy, Karinka, Kurumi, . . . and one other DISGUISED as a Steel Angel!

The question: What is the name that this mystery participant goes by, and what is this character's REAL name? (Bonus points if you've got the name of the Japanese seiyuu for this character!)

Why am I reminded of "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back?&q

Wow, two questions, no answers. Since it's been about 24 since the last one, here comes a third question. Same deal as before; an answer to any of the three questions will suffice.

As for the third question: from the Quack Experimental Anime Excel Saga!!!

In an episode of Excel Saga, Excel is sent out on an assignment (alone). Just prior to carrying out her mission, Excel Excel has something of an inner conflict, brought out into the open: the internal struggle between Good Excel (represented by a chibi-Excel compleat w/ wings and a halo), and Bad Excel (represented by a chibi-Excel compleat w/ pitchfork, horns, bat wings, and a tail). The Good Excel is trying to convince the REAL Excel NOT to carry out Lord IlPalazzo's orders -- it's WRONG! Bad Excel, of course, disagrees w/ Good Excel, and a brawl ensues.

Now, in the end, Excel DOES carry out Lord IlPalazzo's orders (does anyone doubt that?). The question: What WAS Lord IlPalazzo's particular orders for this assignment -- the one that had Excel's inner demon and conscience in a slugfest --, and exactly HOW was the argument between Good Excel and Bad Excel resolved?

Sword above, this thread's on life support right know, but since I just finished wasting 6 weeks making two Excel Saga videos, I can answer it and toss a softball that'll actually get some people back responding here.

Answer:
Excel's solo mission is to begin the extermination of "obscene" manga artists by snuffing the original author, Koshi Rikdo. Good Excel shoots Bad Excel in the head, 'winning' the argument, but eventually at the end of the ep, her ass gets hauled off to jail by Police Excel, and Rikdo gets cut to bits anyways.

Question:
Series: Black Heaven AKA Kacho Oji. What model and/or make is Oji's trademark guitar?

Easy question if you've watched even the first ep, so get cracking.
