Subjectivity! I call subjectivity and everyone's knowledge-of-place.

Some American humor is funny to me. Some isn't. Anime, to me, tends to be a bit funnier in certain circumstances; not so in others. Broad generalizations don't work. Neither does humor neccesarily work the same across individual people and across cultures.

Of course American humor is supposed to be funny to you if you're American. :roll:
