i'm downloading it now. i'm very interested in seeing it, as mine is gravi as well. the concept sounds very interesting.
i've seen also a failed amv of trying to show what it would look like if the bands got together and performed a song in concert. if there was any "lipsynch" in THAT video, it was bad, and it was not a comedy. it was a tragedy.
... (a few minutes later and after watching dj izumi's video) ...
wow! izumi's right, i think, to get what she/he (doesn't want to assume ^_^') wanted out of this video. it's very cool and original, and the lipsynch is not cheesy, even though the voice is female.

See, that's the thing. I don't think it can be called 'original'. I styled it off an MTV style music video, so if anything it was as unoriginal as it gets. It's more that it's just unique to anime music videos. So I think calling the video 'original' is inaccurate.Ezmereth Moriquendi wrote:wow! izumi's right, i think, to get what she/he (doesn't want to assume ^_^') wanted out of this video. it's very cool and original, and the lipsynch is not cheesy, even though the voice is female.

Y'know lipsyncen could probably be pulled off quite well in a drama. If you place it later in a video and do it at a very intence part of the video. in the clip you use. you probably want the singer in a dramatic pose (example: person with arms extended or hands held to chest.) Anyway I think about it. It all sounds like too much work for me .

yeah pratice... on fun videos. not on drama videos. But of coarse it's always up to you whether it's good or not ^.^Kionon wrote:Perhaps your attempts should only see the light of day if you're fairly decent at it, but you have to practice to get better. You can't just expect one day you'll be so awesome an editor as to be able to magically do it without expending any effort to learn.

There's a small scene of lip sync near the beginning that's a good example of how lip sync isn't always comedic.
