Nevertheless, I really liked the end reselt. Twas very interesting and nice. My favorite track was Arashimone's with Air Gear.
Very interesting audio choices out there too. :O
I wanted to see someone edit to that... I love that album (i'm lucky I found it in some tiny CD shop)
*Edit
Only about half of the project was boring uninteresting music, which is actually better than I had been led to believe.
GG guys.

Same here. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hoping for an effects heavy editor to get this part, but even someone like you could've made something out of it, if you'd paid attentions to the particular sounds a little more. But it's all goodBauzi wrote:Melee´s part dissapointed me a bit. The song was really nice and I maybe just thought that there could be a so much better vid.
Okay, through the first 17 or so tracks, I was ready to call this the second coming. But the first few and last 6 or so tracks had the same problem: You weren't trying to make something original with your audio, just applying your usual editing style to it, with mediocre results. Obviously, some people got lucky, and got stuff they're used to dealing with, but I was really amazed at how some of you stepped out of your boundaries and just nailed your tracks. Kaxi, Bauzi, wurpess (You should just edit exclusively ICs already), Hagaren, Krat, Ingow, CodeChrono (Sweet job man), Rapture (I laughed my ass off at yours) I'm looking at you. Great job guys.
And no excuses for people with average audio. Godix is proof it doesn't make a difference.
Also, apologies to Copycat, whose segment is the only one I didn't watch: Still haven't finished E7
Overall, though, this is a breath of fresh air. Everyone needs to give Ben a big round of applause. Now, does the coordinator want to give us a top 3 favorite tracks?

This was just really cool. It had a neat concept, it was really interesting to watch, and the subtle internal sync really added something special.
#2: Copycat_Revolver
Throughout this entire segment, knowing Copycat's style, I kept wondering where the clever, humorous twist was going to come in. And it did at the end, it successfully made me laugh out loud at the randomness and ridiculousness of it. Good job CCR, especially 'cause this isn't the kind of stuff you normally edit to. (And Greg, it doesn't spoil anything, I promise.)
#1: wurpess
This track completely took me by surprise. When Ingow passed this to me, all I could think was "God help the next editor", because I had absolutely no inkling of a clue how anyone could work with it. Somehow, though, wurpess took the most unlikely anime and made it work absolutely fantastically. This was the high point of the MEP to me, and by far exemplifies what I was going for when I came up with the idea for Improv. Excellent job, wurpess.
Some honorable mentions for me include the tracks by Ingow, ArashinomeAMV, Krat, and Hagaren Viper (you should see the waveform for the audio he had to use - more or less completely flat).
And meleechampion - I do have to say, I was pretty disappointed with yours too. When Greg handed me that song I really wanted to see it done well, 'cause it's really cool stuff. You started it off solidly enough, but you went way too crazy with overlays (which I personally hate if they're overused).
So yeah, those're my opinions.
