Just what has Miramax done as of late?
Just curious.

And I'm pleased that Dreamworks is doing it. It could have ended up in the wrong hands. Just one point to through out there: Is this an adaptation of the live-action adaptation in Japan... Or a direct adaptation from the OVA, or TV series.

If it is the former, I'd rather have him pitted against robots with sentient A.I. than apocalyptic mutants... Just me.

I'm refering to the way they handled the release of Shaolin Soccer, I mean how they keep pushing back the U.S. release date of the movie for a couple years. By the time they did distribute it, most people who were interested already got one of the Chinese versions and gave up on Miramax's version. Okay back to the real topic.

anyways alot of studios have bought the rights to animes yet still have not been able to go passed the script writting phase

Next year Miramax does have the Aviator and Finding Neverland with Johnny Depp....hes dreammy ah sh@*! I mean hes coo...hes a homie......uh..I gtg.

ya know who could play a good Shinji.......Haley Joel Osment. That one really good gay actor who was in Lord of the Rings(gandolf) and X-men(magneto) could play Kouzou Fuyutsuki. Kim Cattrell could play Ritsuko Akagi because well....she's hot. O and from what I have heard King Records and Productinon I.G.(Child Star) aren't happy about the ideal of turning the series into a live aciton film.
