Yes Tessa has more nerve than Chidori but it seems like she could do much better than Sagara. Tessa is not as insane as Chidori or Sagara. She thinks with her own mind and knows how to handle her buisness most of the time. Sagara is not worthy of her. I'm not saying this either because I am a Tessa fan because I like Chidori better. Besides I don't think there is anyone else in the FMPanic-ian world that could control Sagara but Chidori. I honestly think Tessa and Sagara would make great friends. He's already proven the point that he can be open (enough) with her and value her and her opinions. Remember though that he gave up a good chunk of his job and pay just to be around Chidori more and be a "normal" student. That's a lot of sacrifice for someone that pimp slaps you with a fan.

Though that can't stop my wishful thinking...
*imagines Tessa ordering Sousuke to do doujinshi shtuff...*
oh yeah...
Too bad Chidori seems more, uh, 'gifted' then Tessa is. Ah well.

The whole Tessa/Chdori problem could be solved with some sake and a three way. Just think of all sorts of perverted stuff involving mind melds and whatnot.
Actually I sort of found myself wondering what the history was with the sisters. They were a little too tough and and involved for throw-away characters don't you think?

Yeah, especially since they were connected to you know who. Anyway I enjoyed the series a lot and look forward to anything in the way of a follow-up. Considering, as was mentioned before, the series advanced the character relationships very little. While it opened up a whole new can of worms on the international scene. I'd be disappointed if there isn't anything in the way of a follow-up.madbunny wrote:Actually I sort of found myself wondering what the history was with the sisters. Some of the manga art that I have seen is a bit suggestive of the two girls. They are the whispered so they share a common bond with each other. It kind of seems like they are two halves of a whole girl. If you combine the two Sagara would probably be happy. The sweetness and intelligence of Tessa and the craziness and funness of Chidori...it would be bliss or a serious case of bipolarism.madbunny wrote: The whole Tessa/Chdori problem could be solved with some sake and a three way.

Eh, I can't really see Sousuke having more feelings for Tessa than just his friendly upper commander. Of course, I don't know what's been going down in Second Raid, but from what I've read and seen, he seems to cater more feelings for Chidori.
My proof of such:
His reaction here is really what made me believe that he'll never truly have any romantic feelings for Tessa. 'Cause, well, with Tessa, he's at his job. He never sees her outside of his job. And knowing Sousuke, he has a damn good work ethic! Being surrounded by other people likewise in a work enviroment leaves no room for a sense of individuality.
With Chidori on the other hand, he's in an unfamiliar atmosphere. As much as he had tried to act as though it was nothing more but his work place, he was continously reprimanded by a civillian (Chidori). So this kinda interrupts his usual daily routine. You even see him feeling a little uncomfortable about losing that routine.
..Ack, sorry. Didn't mean to rant. -_- Truthfully, I view Tessa as a strong commander, but a definate weak personality.

Oh, sure the show leans toward Chidori. Actually if you see TSR it forces him to make some choices on the issue. (sort of). But I hate wishy-washy characters when it comes to romantic entanglements (yes, I know; Anime) so it's fun to think of possibilities.

I like that TSR made the characters realize/admit their feelings for each other, just not to each others faces... Also, it will hopefully clear up the whole randomness of the Lamda driver. Since the whole show had Sousuke brooding and useless I can only expect from now on he'll consistently be efficient with it.
The twins totally got jipped... built them up as super killers, then suddenly threw them away for the convenience of the story. The directors/writers got lazy in showing their degradation, it couldn've been more realistic if they'd just included a few more seconds of action/dialog/emotion from them... but oh well, they're supporting characters/villians and it's "just a show." *cough* lame excuse
I've got a theory of how the whole Tessa/Chidori & Sousuke relationship will get "solved," satifsying their intentions even if there's only 2 physical bodies involved. The first season kinda threw me the idea (refering to Whispered powers/risks), don't wanna elaborate too much if it would ruin the show for anyone.

I put it into spoilerness in case anyone didn't wanna get spoiled.Whispered Spoilers wrote:I'd be REALLY pissed if Chidori and Tessa merge into one 'cause of that mind mending thing... Ressonance or whatever it was.
'Cause as much as I hate Tessa and believe her to be weak, she is an extraordinary commander. And Chidori likewise has her own life. If they merged, there'd be WAY too many problems in Mithril, as well as pretty much crashing Chidori's entire future...
