  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

There's an SD DivX 60fps version under one of the links, it's really not demanding ^_^
Bakadeshi wrote:I do sorta agree on a previous post on the computer effects. While they are nice, I think the video wouldve been just as nice without them, with your stylish sync style. Not saying you shouldn't have done it, just that it wasn't necessary to up the enjoyment factor, at least for me.
Well, they are real-60-fps, and I'd have troubles filling those non-combat parts of timeline without them >_<

If you really mean it, I can make a full-res 60fps DivX version- I still have my lossless. Will be over 100 MB though, I think.

Usually I'm not a fan of random actiony effects vid but this one is really well done. I like how even though it was random action, you set it up so the random action had a purpose. Well thought out with good use of effects and nice sync. Also appreciate you didn't use the typical 'hot chick killing machine' animes, you found unique hot chick killing machine animes to edit too. Very very good work.

I have a lot of mixed feelings about this video. The straight up action in combination with Blue Stahli [And here I thought I was one of the few people who was all about Blue Stahli] is awesome as it should be. But then your mograph and effects come in and it simply doesn't feel polished enough. They feel too much like they were a necessity to create some sort of continuing theme across the video. And thus simply giving you an excuse to go all out. And I think that right now while the focus is where it should be [with the video and not the fx] it could have been a more balanced video.

Two other things that sort of bug me [but aren't video breakers] is for one the lack of interpolating frames ala twixtor or something similar. A lot of the main key scenes still seem to have double frames. And having those slightly interpolated would have probably made the video all that much smoother. The other thing that bugged me a little was the highly contrasted menu's compared to the video. I understand your choice for separating the color palette of the menu vs source. But it rips the overall color palette apart too much. Corpse Princess mainly consists of blue, purple, red and orange. Which doesn't mesh well together with green. Then again this could strictly be my personal taste.

Overall a very enjoyable video.

I must say I read a few comments and then downloaded the video. I was pretty surprised to see that a lot of people got it right when they said that it was really very well done, I can't really say anything against that. The FX and graphs you added into the video, were just cool and merged pretty well with the series cuts (even though, you were the one that merged them well, it's not that it's going to easily happen).

Congratulations
