Is it wierd for our parents to like animes?

Neither of my parents are into anime, but my younger brother and my second older brother are, so am I. My first older brother is kinda into anime, he likes more of the movie type, like Hiyao Miyazaki movies. I have a couple of cousins that are into anime as well.

my mom loves anime. she wakes up at 5 to watch cowboy bepop. and my dad is japanese so he grew up w/ it. GO ASTROBOY

It isn't necesarilly weird. But my parents don't give a rats behind about it and once, while watching Inuyasha, My Dad sat down and asked me, "Why does that girl sound like a guy?" Poor father never knew how much he hurt Sessy-sama's feelings that day... But back to the topic at hand. I actually think it would be cool if parents liked it. Then they would understand and there would be no questions pertaining to the sex of a character (although I have many a time thought a guy to be a girl... but that isn't my fault...) So to sum up my post: It would be coolios.

ya parents are a little strange... they ask the stupidest questions about obvious things. it get annoying after after a while when they do it alot. and my parents dont really understand the complecty of the shows.
