To keep this train on topic though, all music should be given a fair chance and respect since all artists put their effort and time in to creating it, however, as to a specific attraction to a song or 'need' it would have to be unique vocals...they don't always have to be the best, just something new that wont' make me guess what I am listening to 2 weeks later.
Was that Iron Savior. or Persuader...or is it Savage Circus now?=o So god damn the same.

Meh. According to them, it'll be around the year 2028. Just depends on the source. Twenty years from now you can rub it in my face if I used the wrong source, but until then, shush.

You're wrong too...it says the prediction for 9 billion is around 2050 ^^

Well you probably know people like me because I usually only listen to is up-beat music. Pop rocks! hehe...and mostly because its what I first listened to and what I'm used to. And even if I'm depressed I don't go straight into depressing music, I'd rather try to forget it and move on and try to be happy again. And come on...you know you like to dance to it!

This is the first one, which I got a running jump on last night, since it seems to be the most popular. It contains a lot of history and is godawful long, so anyone interested in stuff that's ontopic for the thread can scroll on past. Be warned, it takes a while, but you will eventually get to the end.
HEAVY METAL AS A DEAD TERM
AN EXPLORATION INTO THE DEVELOPMENT, STYLES, AND RELATIONSHIPS OF TOO MANY SUBGENRES
"Heavy metal", as an idea, has been around for at least 35 years. As a consequence, it has become devoid of real meaning, much as "rock" had become in the mid-'80s, when it also had been around for 35 years and spawned a plethora of substyles. Those who remember the mid-'80s will remember that in an environment with indie, new-wave, and hair-metal groups all being accurately described as "rock bands", in addition to those in rock subgenres that had existed before, it was impossible to get an idea of what a band sounded like by simply describing them as a "rock band". The spectrum had become too broad, and the term had lost effective meaning. The same is true for "heavy metal" today; if a band is described as a "metal band", no useful information is provided. From this description comes a sense of vague menace, and the notion that guitars are probably involved somewhere. The idea goes no further with accuracy.

This has for the most part stayed on topic Otohiko except a few posts. I don't get you sometimes Otohiko this is like the third time I've seen you say lock please in one of my topics.. is it because you don't like the topic or you think the topic is pointless? Why do you think a mod before your post just fixed a quotation instead of a lock. well whatever be that way can't stop you from being arrogant.
