Re: Christmas MEP [II] [Final Deadline: December 23]
Heya, I may have ran into a snag on my project. I've been spending all day trying to find the root of the problem, but I can't seem to find it. What I'm saying is, I can't make an AMV if I can't even rip the footage. For a long time I used DVD Decrypter to Decode the VOBs to my Hard Drive and then use FlaskMPEG, but as of late, not just with Kanon(one of the series im using for my segment), but other series just wouldn't read for decryption. I'll have to go overtime on this, but first I need to find a program thats more reliable than DVD Decrypter.
I wish I caught this before, but I had my last few weeks of college finals to deal with. Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions on a program?

download the AMV app, and use DVD Fab. If you worked with DVD footage before, you should already have AvsP, Avisynth and DGIndex, but if you don't, they're in the app as well.

Re: Christmas MEP [II] [Final Deadline: December 23]
Tried it, however I seem to have run into a "Structure Protection" issue. And I have same problems as before, which is absolutely annoying. I'm trying to get my VOBs off of the Kanon Complete collection DVDs, so maybe protection is a bit more complicated on those.
It has to be, because prior to trying to rip the footage from the Kanon DVDs, I ripped the VOBs of White Christmas just fine, and even FlaskMPEGed the section which had the "Snow" song, and it went through just fine. So what gives?

Gotta stick with just the one this year, Code. Life got in the way of editing the last couple of days.
Looking forward to the final project!

Re: Christmas MEP [II] [Final Deadline: December 23]
I would like to thank everyone for their submissions.
However, due to an overwhelming lack of tracks [while I did receive some finals tonight, several of them are barely above "beta" status, had a lot of quality issues and many of which are in the wrong technical specifics that I'm not really wanting to fix], I will not be compiling the MEP as originally planned. Please feel free to submit your tracks to the org and announce them as standalone videos.
My apologies to those that worked hard on their tracks. Next year, I will make sure and start earlier than the last week of November, so maybe we can actually put everything together.
