Mifune
I've seen 7 Samurai (my father's fave), Sanjuro, Yojimbo, Throne of Blood, and The Hidden Fortress. I rented Ran but I had so much homework that week I could see it. I'd like to see Kagemusha first, though. I also found the name of that chain-and-scythe weapon - it's called a kusarigama!

Fav Aime weapon

In Throne of Blood we got to see "pincusion" Mifune.
Sword of Darkness is another one but it tends to leave one with a fealing of nonresolution, mostly because the "hero," who is not the main character, never has a showdown with the antagonist, the main character.
I hope I didn't ruin it for you.
I don't think I did...anyway Mifune has a cameo in this one too.
...no fear no sadness!

Pincushion!!!
Pincushion Mifune was kind of funny...though definitely weird. It was cool to see Kurosawa's interpretation of Shakespeare. Though, my father had taped it (about 10 years ago, might I add) and part of it was missing. It was right before that big battle too, dammit. I MUST SEE KAGEMUSHA!!!!
More cool weapons: shuriken and Tsuzuki's ofuda in Yami no Matsuei. Do those count as weapons?
