Portfolio system

I like to flick the mouse scroller fast and hit the bottom of the page and see what the new video is. Some people have long profiles so it can be a tad annoying that I have to scroll down carefully to get to the newest video, so I want to have the default as descending from oldest to newest, I don't like to select that option everytime I go to someones profile. Please fix.

Or you could just hit "End". I believe that works with all major modern browsers.

Anyway, is it possible to have a "default sort order" setting in our profiles that applies to our view of any editor's profile, so the people who like to see profiles the old way can, and the people who like the new way better can use it instead?

I know!

I use a mouse 90% of the time when I'm on the net with my keyboard away from me. I use a program called Click N Type to do a lot of my typing. Unless I'm typing a shit load, that's the only time I use the keyboard.. reasons for this is so I can play the wii at the same time, lay down without feeling awkward with the keyboard, and for.. well the other reason would be a bit TMIish.. so I'll leave that reason blank.

I really like the new sorting. Great job Doki.

Maybe adding a link near the top, say under 'My Profile' (which it isn't, but whatever) that is 'Go to videos' or something with a #anchor?

I applaud that idea. It gives room for further implementations, like allowing people to see videos in alphabetical order or something (not something I'd do, but hey).

i vote 'yay!' for the Portfolio system

to be sure of what that entails:

...UserA clicks on UserBs' name to go to UserBs' main profile page

by default page will load UserBs' entire profile including entire video entry history

IF selected UserBs' page will only show select videos that UserB deems presentable to the immediate audience, if said option is selected and implimented, an option will be presented on UserBs' Profile page to 'View All Videos'

i'd like to add... if a member decides to use the 'Portfolio' option, then only registered/logged in A-M-V.org members should be allowed to view the complete list, while unregistered guests will have to be content with viewing only those videos that the creator chooses to present on his/her page
