Anywho. I'm still planning on doing the Mulan video, but I won't be able to start it until sometime around Christmas (got SR-71 and Christmas MEPs to finish) I can't remember what I wanted to do for Lion King so I doub't I'll do that. If the deadline is before January 1( can't remember if you said anything about that, I won't be able to get anything done for this.

Dang. It's been two weeks since I've posted anything. Seems like a lot longer. Time flies not when you're working.

To Master O, thank ye for posting, but what Disney songs were you planning on using? Need to know for my clippity-clips! ^.^

As evidenced by Krisqo, I expect a lot more people to come on around Christmas time (everyone's off for winter break and whatnot and has time to do things like this). I have no idea what I'll do to get into the x-mas spirit... Maybe make Red and Green mouse ears? Sure! Why not!

Anyone who wants a pair of Red&Green mouse ears for their avatar, just say so. And btw, my original distribution system of ears was for those who have sent videos in, but since I now don't expect any videos until abouts February, I'm going to give the Golden Mouse Ears to forum participants through their Private Messages. If there are any problems in transfer, give me your email address instead and I'll send it to you that way.

People have changed their avatars since then. I don't know if that's the one they want me to make mouse ears for. And some people don't even have an avatar. Kinda hard to put mouse ears on that ^_^;

Holy sweet bejeebers!

It's been a month since I've written anything.

Truth to tell, I don't think too many people are interested in this contest. I figured it was a shoo-in since everyone here knows anime and just about everybody knows Disney movies. They're like the mainstay of American society as we know it (no, seriously! Have you ever been to the Disney Corporate website? They own everything! I have a sneaking suspiscion that Disney really runs the government and the whole 3 Branches system is just a facade). Well, that's my rant for today. Enough ranting and back to the contest.

February is nigh but about 2 months away so I expect to hear some Progress Reports (and no, they don't require a parent's signature). Tell me how you're doing so far, if there are any problems, how you like it, if you want me to beta test it, things like that, etc.

And whoever said this would have made a better MEP, I think I'd have to agree at this point. It doesn't seem like there are many people who choose the same movie. My only complaint about MEP's is that once someone's called a section of the project there's no guarantee that what they submit, in the words of Strong Bad, won't be "total crap". I figure a contest gives people some healthy competition and a motive to be better than the other contestant. But whatever my philosophy, this has been a contest too long in my opinion to suddenly become an MEP. Also, I think I just picked a horrible time to launch the contest. I did it when people go back to school. I only wish I had thought of this contest at the end of the last schoolyear. Then people would have had all summer to come up with some great material. Oh well.

Well, I'm off. Don't forget those progress reports now! I want to see some posts.

Yeah, I know, I don't check the internet all too often. Me? I'm thinking of sending in another video (you said we could enter as many as we want, right?

) I wanna do something for Sleeping Beauty but I'm torn between using Wolf's Rain or FF8. As for progress

let's not get into that. I've had my geomotry teacher on my back all year and we have final exams on wensday so progress is at a standstill for me. I can't wait until thise thing comes out. I want to see all the other videos ^.^

To RolltheStampede - Sure. I think I'll let Pixar stuff in, but only because Toy Story's "You've Got a Friend in Me" made it onto the Disney's Greatest CD. This contest was meant to be for the Feature Animations (which are the drawn ones) but as we move on in technology, computer animated movies become more frequent.

So yeah, if anybody wants to do a Pixar movie, help yourself

But not Chicken Little - 1) That's not Pixar, and 2) It's not a true Animated Feature... I have no idea what the heck that movie was...
