.avi files

Post by Kawatta-kun » Sat Nov 20, 2010 12:21 pm

So, this is a "bridge" to this thread. Decided to create a new one cause of some implications and... Stuff...

[*] As I said, Sony Vegas 10.0 64bit won't open avi files (unless they're lagarith), saying those are unknown types.
[*] Tried to install then 32bit, didn't worked, it does not open (probably wrong installing order, is it? Didn't want to uninstall 64bit tho), then uninstall-ed it.

[*] THEN installed my dear Vegas 8.0a, and come to a conclusion about AVI files (in this specific 8.0a):
- It will load avi files with these settings (XviD mainly);
- It will not load avi files with these settings (DivX mainly), the audio tho I think it will;

How to resolve it?
How to be abble to get into the library and have those AVI files to work out?

Any thoughts on it?

PS: I know, we do not edit with it, but it is a lot useful. I am not that patient to convert all my creditless OP/ED at VDub, right?

You have two choices

- looks worse
- takes lots of time and HDD space

Pick is yours ;x
