I have used DVDfab before and it has worked and my anyDVD HD trial has run out. I'm really not into the mood to buy anydvd so i'm sticking with DVDfab.
However, I recently bought Evangelion 1.11 on Blu-ray and it refuses to rip. I am currently using an analog screen but I really don't think that would be the problem because I can edit/watch 1080p sources that I previously ripped with anyDVD on it regardless.
I put the disc in, open Dvdfab, it loads the disc up and asks for the region...
I immediately select 1, although I have tried 2 and 3 too see if it made a difference. It didn't. Then it says its loading...and nothing happens. It basically doesn't load the disc.
It looks like this:

I thought maybe this was because of the disc, so I loaded up Chobits on blu-ray and it did the same thing...
Am i doing something wrong? I've never encountered this problem before...and DVDfab had ripped blu-rays before...

Nevermind.
I was able to fix it by installing a newer version of DVDfab. Apparently, they fixed this issue in the newer versions.

Also there was no issue, BD decrypters only work if they have the disc keys hardcoded into them really, you need to update to recent versions to rip newer discs effectively.

[Redacted.] Then you can simply go to Computer > Disc Drive > BDMV > STREAM and copy the original .m2ts file (rename to .mpg for editing purposes).
