I am sitting in the morning at the diner on the corner Days Inn Inner Harbor business center at 1:30 in the morning typing this, but I have to get this up before leaving the con. I can't upload the video to the local server since I don't have a copy with me, so for now you'll have to use the direct links.
I'm also not going to be able to respond to any posts here until we get back on Sunday evening, and maybe not even then if we're still as exhausted then as we are now.

SQUID GIRL IS METAL!

Yes, this is another upbeat video that's mainly meant to show off the animé used (just like in 2009 -- I swear I don't work for Media Blasters!). This little anthropomorphic cephalopod wants to conquer humanity to get back at them for wanton pollution of the ocean... but ends up stuck working at a beach house restaurant. Slice of life comedy ensues. And lots of tentacle tricks.

What the hell Scintilla! Was this song made specifically for the anime? Its a little too accurate to be a coincidence.

But anyway, nobody does upbeat AMVs quite like you. Its always a pleasure watching your newest vid. I must say that I think you could have done a little more with editing this, but the concept is absolutely perfect. great job

Yeah I gotta agree, solid editting, awesomelly fitting song ( I don't think I've seen better lyrics sync so far ). Well, and it has got great atmosphere to it.

Such a fun AMV! Lip flap was a little [ok a lot!] painful to see at times, but otherwise, an excellent AMV that was very fun to watch.

Funnily enough, I didn't look at the song beforehand, and I thought somebody at Aqualine had sung/composed it just for this AMV, because it was so oddly well fitting enough! XD
