No Fades for music?

So, I have Cyberlink Power Director 8. I am new to AMV's, just started using this program and I got the hang of
doing the very basic things but my question is, is there no way to fade out/in music with this program? I looked
through the whole thing.. either I'm blind or there isn't a way. Can anybody shed some light on this? lol

Oh, one other thing. Does this program have a flash effect? If so.. which is it?

Don't know the program, but Audacity (which is free) can do fade in/out. Render the audio, alter it in Audacity, load it back in.
