after effects wont start up

When I try to load up after effects I get this message that says " After effects can't continue: Standard 3D module is missing. " I tried google but found no solutions. Has anyone had this problem before or something similar to help me out. Not sure if it's as simple as just moving a file into another folder, or if I have to re install AE all together.

try deleting this folder:

%appdata%\Adobe\After Effects

Or rename it, which ever you feel comfortable doing. If that doesn't help any, re-install.
