Vegas pro 11.... why can't I snap to the grid in masking?

I switch to position, it's fine. I switch to mask, I can't snap to the grid, even with the option on the left sidebar checked off. I need to cut out even lines. I don't see why snapping to the grid doesn't....well, snap to the grid. Is there something I am missing? It's bothering the hell out of me.

Nevermind. Like always, post about something after a while of tinkering with it, and figure it out the next minute after the post is live. -_-.... sometimes, I swear my subconscious tells me to post so I figure it out for myself shortly thereafter.

Eh, I just simply place 4 points on the masking, unclick the masking, and then individually move the corners to where I want. >.o
