Re: 2:1 Opinions please :)
(Sorry if this review isn't as detailed or professional as you would like I'm still pretty much an amatuer. I just posted my third video)
Just watch your video and overall I think it's definitely a solid video. The song fits well with the scenes you picked, and the flow of the actions is on point. To make it even better consider messing with the brightness, contrast and saturation of the video. I know this can be somewhat distasteful if it's overdone, but I'll always prefer a nice bright and luminescent image over a dull colored one. Also the lip syncing, i know it a little hypocritical of me to judge your lip syncing considering how mines looks, but It needs to spot on in this case. A climactic lip sync at a moment like that can make a break a video. Put a lot of effort into that lip sync where the guy says "Phenomenon" that will make the whole thing seem that much more epic. I'll pass on this other little tip I got from somebody else I think it was a "Replay Studios" who said this to me. Focus on the timing! make every one of them perfect. I've found that making the scene change a frame or two before the beat in the song hits will look very crisp. GOOD JOB
It'd be nice to have someone review one of my videos. my first one looks pretty bad since I totally messed up the whole exporting process. I'd love it if you reviewed my latest video First Years of the Dead. Please don't feel obligated to do two reviews, but if you want to I'll appreciate it a ton
OH AND ONE MORE THING I saw a couple watermarks in your AMV. It makes your video just seem more professional when there aren't any water marks flashing around in the corners. Try using some something to cover them up. You can try to blur them out, but cover ups are better. All of my videos have some kind of cover up in them. You can tell its a cover up when something that seems a little unnecessary pops up in a corner. Of course the best cover up is one that goes unnoticed. The best way to avoid watermarks in general is to find source material with no watermarks. That can be kinda hard sometimes though. Unless you can just buy anime series on DVD. If you plan on just keeping your videos to yourself and this site then its not required or anything, but I'm sure no contest will accept your video if theres water marks flashing in it.
