Much appreciation for the recognition and overwhelming response from the community including AMVNEWS.RU, AKROSS and many other portals.
I had a blast making this video and worked tirelessly for 4 weeks to make this late concept a reality. The idea behind this amv is sometimes misunderstood, with regards to its romantic elements because people try to find sentimental feelings associated with the overall composition. The goal was to make a Fun/Dance music video that felt like one. With artists singing, their performance and complementing shots in this case metaphors that highlight 'subjects associated with falling in love' i.e. confession, rejection, doubt/confidence, empowerment, vulnerability, embarrassment, excitement, sex, etc. The song choice 'Pray to God',with its lyrics, drove much of this inspiration. The title 'Coup de Grace' was also a result of this i.e. One probably prays to God when they have given into so much conflicting(love) or (literal) pain like a Coup de Grace
There are many subtle ideas from a technical point of view like use of colour and mood tones to enhance synchronisation between clips but all thats left for discovery. Its far from perfect but I am very proud of the outcome and thank everyone who saw something in it.
