AWA Editors Dinner

If you didn't already know:

AWA is now 4 days!!

That said I have spoken with Jingoro and our usual Thursday night derpitude will remain. The VAT will not be open until noon on Thursday so there is no early option for us this year. I am also looking for a roast follow up game and someone to take ownership of that so please PM, tweetmail or booker me. Apparently no violence allowed this year since Vlad gets squeamish at the sight of blood as it turns out. I know some people have already messaged me that they will arrive on Wednesday, but it seems that some are still en-route for Thursday. So for the sake of maximum editor saturation we'll keep the dinner on Thursday with roasting and games to follow. (If there is a massive outcry this can be changed.) Likewise if anyone is tired of Cheesecake Factory please feel free to start a revolution. Thus far the only locations I have found that can host a group of our size is that and Maggiano's, but Maggiano's did not want to work with us last time and CF is always fantastically accommodating. If cost is an issue buddy up and split a meal. Seriously they are generally pretty 'Murica sized. At minimum come hang out, buy a drink and some desert and enjoy social time with friends.

I'll comment later about the games - but I am iffy about Thursday dinner as it means it is up against other con items and since we don't know the schedule we don't know what everyone's plans are.

That said Rebecca and I will be there in either case - right now we're weighing our options on if we will arrive Tuesday or Wednesday.
